Chung-Yuan Mou’s academic training is as follows: BS. Taiwan University(1970), Ph.D. Washington University, St Louis (1975), Postdoctor, University of Oregon (1975-1977) He has been continuously teaching in the department of chemistry of National Taiwan University since 1978 and served as chairman in 2004-2007. Since 2007, he is university chair professor of NTU. He was awarded National Chemistry medal, and outstanding research award of NSC many times. His research interest includes, Statistical Mechanics, Mesoporous Silica, Heterogeneous Catalysis, Nanomaterials and Nanomedecine.
